Terms for the site and the license.

Last updated October 25, 2026. Part A covers visitors to gcengine.com. Part B is the license between GC Engine and a general contractor.

These terms are an agreement with GC Engine (“we”, “us”). Contact info@gcengine.com. If a signed order form conflicts with Part B on fees, modules, or term, the order form controls for that engagement.

Part A — This website

A1. What the site is

gcengine.com describes our product for general contractors. It is not a construction contract, not a homeowner quote, and not an offer to perform renovation work.

A2. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, attempt to break or probe the service, scrape it in a way that degrades it, or send us someone else’s contact details without authority.

A3. Site content

We own the GC Engine name, this site, and the software. You may not copy the product or present our materials as your own. Contractors receive a license under Part B, not ownership of the platform.

A4. Intake forms, booking, and outreach consent

When you submit an intake form, book an appointment, or otherwise ask us to contact you on gcengine.com, you accept these terms and consent to GC Engine contacting you about your inquiry, our product, onboarding, and related services.

That consent covers:

  • Human outreach from our team by phone call, text/SMS, email, and voicemail
  • AI agents operating on our behalf, including AI-assisted and automated phone calls, texts, emails, and voicemail (such as an AI receptionist or outbound follow-up agent)
  • Marketing emails from GC Engine about the product, pricing, case examples, webinars, and related commercial messages
  • Appointment reminders, scheduling messages, and follow-ups tied to the inquiry you submitted

Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of buying anything from us. You may opt out of texts by replying STOP, and of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those messages or by emailing info@gcengine.com. Opting out of marketing does not cancel transactional messages needed to complete a booking you requested.

You confirm you are the owner of the contact details you provide, or that you are authorized to use them. Do not submit someone else’s details without authority.

Part B — Contractor license

Part B applies when you pay setup, sign an order, or use the product. “You” means the contracting business. Your staff use the workspace under your account.

B1. What you license

A subscription to the multi-tenant CRM and automation stack. The default modules are:

  • A client website, templated from your onboarding and published in your brand
  • An AI receptionist
  • Outbound follow-up by phone, text, and email
  • Quoting tools for the work you sell
  • The contractor CRM your team logs into

Video quoting is off unless we enable it. We operate hosting, numbers, messaging, and voice for those modules, inside the plan limits on the pricing page.

B2. What you keep

  • Your Google Business Profile
  • Your Google Ads, Meta, and similar ad accounts, including who pays for ads
  • Your relationships and contracts with homeowners
  • Your brand assets. You grant us a license to use them to configure your site, agents, and quotes

We do not take ownership of your ad accounts or Google Business Profile. Access you grant for setup can be revoked. Revoking access does not cancel the subscription by itself.

Homeowners deal with you. The GC Engine name is not the brand on their project. A homeowner’s use of your website does not transfer their project to us.

B3. Fees

  • Setup: $2,500 USD, once, billed at onboarding
  • Core: $3,000 USD per month. Every channel, booking, templated quotes, e-sign, jobs, reviews, reporting, and the website.
  • Premium: $5,000 USD per month. Three times Core’s included usage, custom quoting, a monthly review call, and priority support.
  • Leads included: 200 a month on Core, 600 a month on Premium
  • Calls, texts, emails, and DMs: unlimited for included leads. Outreach per lead is fixed by the system.
  • Extra leads: $15 USD each on Core, $10 USD each on Premium, billed in arrears

The lead cap is the plan limit. Channel volume for those leads is included unless an order says otherwise. Extraordinary volume, spam, or abuse may be limited or billed separately. If a payment fails, we may pause outbound and telephony until it is paid. The setup fee is non-refundable except under the booking guarantee. If the target is still missed at month 6, the setup fee is refunded less refund processing fees, Stripe fees, and non-recoverable third-party costs, capped at $150. The full guarantee conditions live in the Client Service Agreement.

B4. Markets

The product is for contractors operating in Canada, the United States, or both. You are responsible for licenses, insurance, permits, and trade rules where you work. We configure quiet hours and messaging rules for those two countries. You must not use the system to contact people without the consent those rules require.

B5. Your responsibilities

  • Complete onboarding with accurate business and pricing information
  • Keep the consent language on lead sources you control
  • Do not load purchased lists into outbound calling or texting
  • Confirm consent when your staff enter a lead by hand
  • Run lawful advertising on accounts you own
  • Pay invoices when due

You are the business responsible for the decision to contact a homeowner. We provide the tools, including AI agents, and we process the messages. You do not point those tools at people who have not consented, and you honor STOP, unsubscribe, and do-not-call requests.

B6. AI outreach

Phone calls, texts, emails, voicemails, and direct messages sent through the product are performed by AI. A person does not write or approve each message before it goes out. AI can make mistakes. It can misunderstand someone, state something inaccurate or incomplete, invent a detail, use the wrong tone, or send a message you did not intend. Similar output may be produced for other customers.

Paying setup, signing an order, or using the product is your acceptance that AI is not perfect and that unintended messaging may occur. You accept that risk for outreach sent in your company’s name.

We will make every reasonable attempt to mitigate that risk, including consent and opt-out handling, quiet hours, plan limits, and the product rules in these terms. Those attempts do not remove the risk. Inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unintended output is an inherent risk of working with AI, and we do not guarantee that it will not occur.

The AI features are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, reliability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and any warranty that AI output will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. AI output is not legal, financial, engineering, or construction advice. It is not a binding price. You are responsible for reviewing conversations, quotes, and other output, and for how your business uses them. You must not treat AI output as the only basis for a price or a scope of work.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for unintended, inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or inappropriate AI output, or for lost jobs, lost reputation, or claims that arise from it. That liability sits inside the cap in B10. You will cover claims against us by a homeowner, a lead, or a regulator that arise from AI outreach sent in your name, from information or pricing you supplied, or from your use of the product, except to the extent the claim is caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

B7. How the product behaves

  • Quote follow-up messages are templated. The AI does not call someone about a quote
  • A request for a human callback is a task for you. The AI does not place that call
  • Prices on a quote come from your catalog and our pricing code. A blank price blocks sending
  • Website content, AI conversations, and sample ranges are not a binding price. The binding scope is the written quote a homeowner accepts
  • We do not promise a number of booked jobs, a close rate, or ad performance

B8. Data

You decide why homeowner and lead data is collected for your business. We process that data to provide the service. Our privacy policy describes the categories, the providers we use, and deletion.

Anyone — including a homeowner — may email info@gcengine.com with the subject “Data deletion request”. We delete the personal information we hold, as that policy describes, and we tell you when a homeowner in your workspace makes that request.

When the subscription ends, you may email us for an export of lead and project records. After that export window, we delete or anonymize personal information in the workspace, except records we must keep for tax, payment, or legal claims.

B9. Term and cancellation

The license is month to month. Cancel with 30 days’ written notice to info@gcengine.com. Setup is $2,500 once, billed when we onboard you. We may suspend or end the license if you materially break these terms, fail to pay, or use the system for unlawful outreach.

B10. Limitation of liability

The software is a business tool. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost jobs, indirect damages, or consequential damages arising from the site, the product, or AI output. Our total liability for a claim relating to the license, including a claim about AI outreach, is capped at the fees you paid us for the three months before the claim, except where a law does not allow that cap.

You will cover claims against us that arise from unlawful calls or messages you directed, from content you supplied, or from your construction contracts with homeowners, except to the extent the claim is caused by our failure to follow these terms.

B11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction, except where a non-waivable law in your home state or province gives you a right to proceed somewhere else.

Changes

We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new date. If a change materially reduces your license during a paid period, we will email the address on your account before it applies to you. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the updated terms.
